I need 2 STRONG guys, someone with access to a flatbead truck, to come to the quarry with me and get some rocks, then bring them back to my house and into my yard. If they have a pick-up, it will probably mean 3 trips, so more time is needed.

The quarry closes at 6 pm, so they need to be available to be there no later than 4:30 .

Sooner the better. If you know someone who is willing/interested in a few hours work (probably about 4 in total) please PM their phone number.

Thanks.

Apparently not ....... all those dump trucks are privately owned; the owner could arrange one BUT not the labour, so it's better for me to go with my guys/truck and then choose the ones I want.

I don't want a load of assorted rocks... I need some of specific shapes/sizes, so they need to be picked out of the piles ... and there is nobody there available to do that so I have to bring my own brawn!

They use a front end loader to fill the trucks, and that would break too many rocks since I want long rectangular shaped one ... about 1 to 1.5 meters long.

Nothing is easy!

That sounds like a $55.00 CDN per man per hour plus a $75.00 delivery job.

Nothing is cheap!

Because .. pedro .. I do NOT WANT a dump truck.. I want a flatbed ... I don't want the rocks to BREAK ... I don't want them loaded with a front loader OR dumped from a truck!

I have been out to the quarry 3 times now (man, what an awesome place that is, btw) and what I am asking for, is what I need, to get the result I want!

2 strong guys and a flatbed truck! (or a pick up if they are willing to do about 3 trips!)

Did you ever get those stones you wanted, long and flat? If not, there is the place at the corner of the Joco malecon road which during the motorcycle weekend unloaded a HUGE flate bed of various colored and large flat stones. Although they probably cost more at first glace, it would be a whole lot easier, and the cost would most likely net out to be similar to picking it yourself at the dump.

I don't know anything about ponds but would like to find someone who can work on an existing pond - do you all know of anyone locally?
