Movies old and new if you wish but I suspect few will be a surprise.

I'd given up on TV long ago and am now discovering this large library of top quality (realism)TV series that evidently started this century

Wouldn't know where to look to find these...but they are top notch series.

and, of course, 24.
I find that the adrenaline rush from watching one hour of 24 lasts around a week. So, I can't imagine watching up to six hours at a time like friends of ours do...jeez, no wonder he had the biggest abdominal aortic aneurysm in history and lived.
I still like CSI...all three of them...NY, Miami and Las Vegas
