On both our trip south and for our return north, we plan to stay in Zacatecus one night each way. In the past, we have stayed at Hotel del Bosque but it appears that they have decided to get quite proud of their rooms judging by their current rates of $109 USD per night! With all the experience on this forum, I was wondering where else people might recommend? On our way down, the van will be somewhat empty but based upon prior experience, quite full on the way back up. So parking/security is of a concern.
