Interesting town especially with the Colonial downtown. More activity than anyone needs altho most gringo oriented. Lots (too many) of fancy bars and restaurants tho many well hidden in the Colonial facades.
More interesting to spend time with people who live here. We've been out to old San Miguel - not much more than a ranchito and a church, organic farm and another private rancho for beer and comida. There's a micro-brew tavern we went to last night that was 95% gringo patrons. Surprised at the number of old Saloons with the swinging doors.
Probably Guanajuato tomorrow and Pozos Saturday
