On the way back from Dolores Hidalgo we stopped at three water parks just a short distance from San Miguel. We saw a few others in the area but they either looked closed or of lesser quality.
The first coming into town, and most expensive, is La Gruta. Mainly a quiet place to relax with all the trimmings. No large pools or water slides. On the highway.
Xote and Taboada are off the same road quite a ways off the highway. Taboada is the oldest of the three and medium priced. Nothing but the pool, a restaurant and picnic areas. Nobody was there. Xote is the modern water park with all the toys - and the cheapest. They have about 5 pools of varying size
