I wouldn't worry too much, Austin, MSNBC will still have lots of opportunity to report on her. She'll still be in politics either running for the Senate or for the nomination in 2012. Wouldn't it be great if she named Michel Bachman as her running mate?

WASILLA, Alaska – Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said Friday she is resigning from office at the end of the month, raising speculation that she would focus on a run for the White House in the 2012 race

Michelle Bachmann and Palin, wouldn't that be a dream team? As many stupid comments as can come out of the mouths of those two, at least the GOP wouldn't have to worry about a sex scandal with the candidates, well, except for the scandals within their own families. You should read the comments people have posted about Palin resigning. They think she is a good governor because they "think" Palin can find Canada on a map. At last, a brainy Republican.

Renouncing her office mid-term hardly seems to be an effective strategy for seeking higher office. Rather, she should be seen as a quitter and is finished as a candidate for national consideration. She is a human being who was subjected to the most vicious treatment by her political enemies that I can recall. I think that the way her children were treated by the likes of Letterman, Olbermann and Maddow was more than any mother would be able to endure for long. R.I.P. Sarah Palin. Que descanse en paz tu carrera politica

Totally delusional

If she does not want to 'move up' ... why not just wait out the term

See my earlier post. Sexism won out this time. Even Sarah Barracuda couldn't overcome it.
