Four of us dined at Tabarka restaurant tonight, Friday March 21. Please note that we, 2 of us are [b]not fish eaters.
We started out with 4 tapas plates as follows: Salmon with dill and olive oil. Very thinly cut. Tuna hamburgers on a crostini with red pepper and toothpick thru it. 4 Extra jumbo shrimp grilled. Huge and I mean huge shrimp. Warm salad with shrimp consisting of lettuce, spinach, radicchio, red pepper, asparagus, green beans and very large shrimp. He has many, many Tapas plates. 4 of each item come on one plate so you can share with 4 or 6 people depending on how many plates you order.
Our main meal was Seafood Paella for 2, although after the tapas we shared it amongst 4 of us. The seafood was, shrimp, clams, calimari, asparagus, and nice moist rice. All food was excellent and freshly prepared and tasty. The service was excellent. The owner/chef is very cordial. Remember as said above 2 of us are were not fish eaters, but we are now.
Tabarka is located in the Rancho del Oro mall at the opposite end of Sr. Sushi.
