Can anyone recommend some good places to stay in Melaque?

Probably a fishing guide as well...

Laguna del Tules in Villa Obregon

It's busy here now so you might want to come after school starts

I ran into to that guy on the beach in Barra a while back. He is the biggest bullshitter and as full of himself as anyone I've ever met. I have fished in Barra for over 30 years. There are some very good local guides that such as Alfredo Molina, Enrique Figueroa aka el "Picocho", Blas Arteaga and several others. They all have gringos as regular customers.
