Seem like every time we have a storm system pass by, we get a slow rain all day. This one will pass us some way off, the surfers are gonna love it. Hope Cabo doesn't get hammered again.

Sure looks headed for Baja. Only light rain here in Melaque but the tail end usually carries a little more weather

I'm watching it too. Actually had quite a steady rain yesterday afternoon for several hours. We've been delightfully covered in cloud for 36 hours now and it's cool and breezy...a really nice change. On "weather underground", they are reporting only a 30% chance of rain on the days that Jimena will be passing by PV (Tues & Wed) but 70% and 80% on the days following.
We'll see....you're gonna get the effects first Sparks...keep us posted please?

We've been in Barra and Cihuatlan since yesterday afternoon, and Colima on Friday. It rained through the night in Colima. The Marabasco River between the 2 states is very shallow and narrow. Friends and relatives who have farms in the area are all talking about wells getting low so let's hope Jimena helps replenish them. It was dry in Barra yesterday but has been drizzling since around 8 this morning. I hope it rains even harder.
