No matter who invented this great salad - we certainly enjoy them when properly prepared! The restaurant at the Hotel El Tapatio does a great presentation of making them table-side and are quite good. On the other hand, we had one prepared table-side at Pricilla's in Patzcuaro that was a bit lacking.

Amazing that this would be reported in the Straits Times. Mexico is not exactly top of the list for vacationing Singaporeans

As a former bartender, I believe that was a Canadian sort of invention. At least that is what I seem to remember.
