For all the FTA "hobbyist" who have non-IKS FTA receivers and can't use them, Nagra 3 on Dish has been down since this morning and everything including PPV is wide open. You might look for new bins, but from what I've read, almost all FTA receivers are getting channels. Enjoy, it won't last long.

I would like to inquire just how someone that claims to be so moral and ethical rationalizes stealing signals from DISH NETWORK for free? Granted people with the necessary equipment from DISH and pay for the service from DISH are quasi illegal but at the very least, they are paying for the service! In some ways, it reminds me of someone that I knew who taped into a cable service line because it was there to be had but felt that he wasn't stealing.

As a regular DISH customer for over 10 years, I have no problem paying for what I use and certainly enjoy the programming that I pay for!

You make a lot of assumptions, don't you. Where did I write that I have an FTA receiver, which are by the way, perfectly legal? I passed on the information that Nagra 3 is down. If people living in this area want to watch satellite tonight they can't anyway because it's raining too hard. English language Dish is illegal anywhere in Mexico even for the people who pay Dish for programming. Maybe we can make a crown and give you the High and Mighty award because you are such a super moral guy. Too bad you lack any other qualities like being tall.

I would like to know if the keyboard explanation point was taken away from you would you be able to write? I think you are the most emotional man I have ever witnessed. You go over the top with everything. You need some tranquilizers or maybe hormone shots.

Regards,

Stick it.

I don't know. Yesterday Dish lost all it's encryption and anyone with a receiver could watch all of the Dish Network channels including the Pay Per View (PPV). CG thought that watching the free Dish channels that were available, channels that even Dish customers who did not pay for all the channels could watch, was unethical. I'm sure that if CG accidentally stopped on a channel that wasn't in his package and was suddenly viewable, that he didn't watch it even though it was free to watch. Gee, I wish we could all be as ethical and goody two shoes as CG. What a wonderful world it would be to have so many pompous windbags amongst us. If we were all like CG, then there wouldn't be only two people who stick up for Pedro, the only two who do not live here.

Gotcha Pamela!

So much fun jerking your chain especially the closer we get to the "Day of the Dead".

As a matter of fact, those of us in the US affected by the server crash initially received nothing other than a message that our smart cards were not any good. During that period, we had no programming at all.

You try so hard to make people think you know what you're talking about and it never works.

Dish was completely down for several hours everywhere, not just in the U.S. The satellites can't be down just in one area. When it came back on it was without encryption which apparently was the only way to start the programming. Is this over your pointed head?

As far as those who do not meet your ethical standards which includes some people you call your friends: I wonder if pirating Dish is illegal in Mexico since English language Dish is not available for sale in Mexico. In the U.S. Dish sells its programming and receiving it and not paying for it can be prosecuted criminally, civilly or both. Since it cannot be sold in Mexico, it cannot be stolen. Canada has a law against receiving Dish programming over its border but doesn't really enforce it. Canada does occasionally enforce its laws against pirating BEV which is Canadian Dish broadcast on different Echostar satellites. If it cannot be sold, it cannot be bought even if one wants to pay, so it cannot be stolen in Mexico.

Don't you have any people up there you can try to correct to prove how smart you are or has everyone else run you off? Doesn't it get tiresome lying in wait, ready to pounce anytime you think you can correct me, you never know what you are talking about and then you add some childish insult like Day of the Dead? You really are backward ignorant jerk. Obviously a Pedro wannabe.

Pamela:

Buttons, Buttons, Buttons! It is so much fun and so predictable to push yours! Did I badmouth your friends? Oops, I forgot, they are too high and mighty to do so!
