Double lots (20×20), electric, water, cistern, septic (wells are easy). Quiet neighborhood surrounded by farmland. Gringo and Mexican neighbors. Almost ready for RV living (septic and water lines). Room on vacant lot for garden, pool and/or casita or just RV. Finish the existing house for whatever. Asking around $350,000mx

Place was built with the idea of both lots sharing water and septic – so cistern and septic are on the lot line. Extra city water could be brought in and wells are shallow. There are seperate electric services but only one installed. Both lot walls and house are over built (according to Mexican standards) because we were not sure how many floors or where a second house/casita might be

I have been thinking about you Sparks. You now want to sell this property, I think you can get your dollar from Canadian snowbirds - most have no idea that you can live in an RV while you build a house. Even in the most rural parts of Canada, you are only allowed one year. Most have no idea that a motorhome can now come into Mexico for ten years. There are many skilled tradespeople who do not like to work in Canada in the winters, and they are now getting to the age where they don't have to. This is a (relatively) cheap place to advertise and it would be a perfect target market. Rolly should advertise there too.

Thanks for the idea. Compared to lots in Melaque near the beach this is very cheap (and with Canadian neighbors). A place to park your RV with all facilities ... while you do what you want with the half completed house next door (well maybe 1/3 completed)

I could go on about the/my vision of the property but it's in the past. For the right people this could be a pleasant getaway

I forgot to mention that the RV Times is mainly a print publication, distributed for free.

The RV angle can also fit in this way - some of those large fifth wheels are a real bargain right now. I don't know the full legalities of this, but if you brought one down and then stripped it for the house, you would be getting first class appliances, cabinets, bedroom, bathroom, AC and possibly a generator/inverter. You probably have take the carcass back to the U.S. however to sell the wheels and chassis and zero out the Mexican import papers. Alternatively, you can convert the carcass to a large cargo trailer - I don't think the Mexican papers go into much detail.

Get a 10 year permit and I probably won't live that long
