Last night our Bi monthly Dinner group of 9 dined at Armando's restaurant. He had a nice fire going in the inside fireplace. Some people had drinks. Huge drinks for $ 40. pesos.

We had different items from the menu. He serves his hot towels first, then his warm croissant rolls. Some of us ordered his Green Garden Salad. It comes with a choice of 3 dressings. A large green salad with everything in it for $ 33. pesos. I thought it would be more of a before dinner salad, but it was large and excellent. Some ordered the Cream of Tomato soup and Shrimp Bisque. Cream of Tomato soup was $ 33. pesos. Good sized bowls and very good.

On to the Entrees: I had Shrimp in white wine sauce as did my friend. $ 115. pesos. It came with rice and green beans al dente. Three others had Filet Mignon, two had it with Mustard Sauce. Another person had the Filet Mignon brochette. Another person had Sea Bass. Another person had Fajitas. I'm not sure what the others had.

On to Desserts: One had Crepes Suzettes, Armando's specialty. One had a Peach dessert with vanilla ice cream. I had plain vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce.

In summary, Armando's prices are reasonable and in line with other restaurants at Lakeside. The quality of food is and always has been excellent. The service is excellent. The ambiance is one of the "best" in Ajijic. Everyone enjoyed dining there and are anxious to return.

We highly recomend Armando's to everyone at Lakeside as one of the top 5 "best" restaurants Lakeside. Try it you'll like it.

Well I for one am glad to hear somethings havn't changed! Armando's was always one of my favorite places to eat. His flamed coffee w/ the Gran Manier is the absolutley best I have ever had.

Although winter is yet to officially arrive in the Heart O Texas, summer can't come soon enough for Rick and I. It doesn't seem like it but we will officially celebrate our 8th year of our love and our love of Mexico togather.

What better place to celebrate our anniversary than Armando's..Thank You John, for reminding me just exactly where we should be enjoying it!!!

Armando's is awesome. It is our favorite resturant Lakeside. The fillet with mustard sauce is unbelievable. Truly a great place to take your honey for a nice dinner. For those who don't know where it is. It is on the side street next to Danza del Sol Hotel (Melanies) in Ajijic. I think the street name is Privado OCampo??

Cheers,

Bob
