The same disease which infects most organized religion - enlightened self interest.
Its amazing how Princess Diana has attained sainthood for those outside the Catholic faith.
What's
enlightened about it? lol.
The Diana phenomenen is fascinating. Here you have a girl who doesn't know spit about things, who marries an older man who's had a mistress for years. Poor young thing fulfills her babymaking and charitable duties, finds out about the mistress, has a hissyfit, becomes somewhat mentally unstable, does the bulimic bit and also fools around (so there, sucker) and finally leaves home and spouse. After that, she has a grand fling on a big budget and has the msfortune to be killed in an auto accident.
For this, she's a SAINT? Oh my.
I feel sorry for Diana's misfortunes, but she's got lots of company. It does help to be a beautiful Princess, though. Sadie from the projects wouldn't have made it with that resume.
