I can’t help but inquire interested or not. I always inquire when a hospital or church are for sale. Is the 85 yr old nurse still up to date on procedures like automatic weapons wounds not lead ball or arrow?

Shut-up Pedro, I think Speedy's gonna go for it. Sure as hell don't want to be stuck here for another winter.

You must have had a reason to go there?

Money. I changed it into a rooming house, and rent to guys in the oil patch. It's time to cash out what remains of my tattered equity, and head for warmer climes.

You should try to sell it to a religious cult - but I don't know how you would go about the marketing (Although I'm pretty sure the "Big Guy" doesn't take commissions  ).

I visited a town in Saskatchewan called Zenon Park, the original settlers were French factory workers from Massachusetts, they became successful farmers and then decided to build a garment factory and built housing - their plan was to invite unwed mothers from the cities to move there and retrain. It sat empty for years - but it shows there are these ideas out there, even among deceptively sane people. You never know.

Another option is to try the immigration consultants and business brokers who sell into this market. It really helps their applications to own property and/or an ongoing business - and the prices are much more affordable than the big cities. I have seen millions sold this way in Winnipeg.

With swine flu on the horizon - maybe some other application?
