I guess that mc2 needs some help in interpreting sections of this forum BOARD INFO AND HELP apparently needs to read BOARD INFO AND BOARD HELP for those that don't comprehend! There is a REAL ESTATE SECTION toward the bottom that my guess would be includes topics such as this.

Maybe the person looking for and expecting to find housing in the $250USD range can apply for some sort of U.S. Govt. rent subsidy program and then rent johnnyboy's house in that premier gated community?

Might have to leave the lake area to find something at that price.

What kind of help is that, Pedro? You're a bright helpful guy with lots of important contacts. Put your brain in action, instead of your mouth, and help the lady. You could even offer a ride on your Hog, to have a look around.

Pedro doesn't ride a 'Hog' - he rides a 'Bog', a British hog - but also slang for a toilet there.

Just as well really, its broken down so often, he has to sit on his own toilet, making motorcycle type noises, to get the moto experience.

You might find a dump in Chapala or San Antonio for $250.

we had a place for 7 years in ajijic for only 1500p--about $135 then. now its up to 2500p! there aren't many like this ,but some , especially if you know your mexican neighbors or ask at the local abborotes. there are many in joco and probably chapala too. we did an experiment one year and lived on less than $350 a month here. simplify,simplify,simplify... a dump is what you make of it,johnny. we'd rather live in a dump in ajijic than trump's penthouse in nyc. and it isn't about the money anymore either....it's about being happy and living in harmony with your universe.
