PRESS RELEASE No. 324
22/Septiembre/2009
Current situation of influenza A (H1/N1)

TRANSLATED VERSION
The Ministry of Health reports that as of yesterday evening 27 thousand 660 were confirmed cases of influenza A (H1/N1) in the country, of which 222 died.

Of the 222 people dying from this cause, 87.4% had cough, 86% fever, shortness of breath 75.2%, 52.7% malaise and cough 49.5%. The 50.5% were female and 49.5% men and 71.6% were between 20 and 54 years old. The 32 states have confirmed cases, mostly concentrated in Chiapas, Mexico City, Yucatan, Jalisco, Veracruz, San Luis Potosi and Tamaulipas.
Worldwide there are over 296 thousand 471 cases and three thousand and 486 deaths, but because the World Health Organization (WHO) does not require countries to report individual cases, the number may be lower than the figure real.

Original Text:

Are you using an online translator and if so, which one? If it's a program, it translates better than the one's I've been using.

I use the google translate.. there are 2 versions...this on came w/ google toolbar and gives the option to translate the whole website..and you can switch back and forth or any language...Other times I just type in Google translate and do it taht way, both have advantages depending on what you are doing....

I've used Google Translates and it's usually bad. I can get the gist of what was in Spanish but it doesn't make a lot of sense.

Have you two babbling females heard of using PM's?

There you go Pamela, I have finally done it! Maybe the two of you can also start making lists and get your own sections on this forum?

Do you think there's a moron contest and you are in the final considerations? Too bad you have nothing interesting to add to a list.

I think I might make a run for the border when the H1N1 shot is available since I am in the high risk age.
