I knew where the name came from but not about the website. Thanks for that! I used to watch the Naked Chef (and so many other great shows) on PBS when I lived in the olde country. Sniff....how I miss PBS!

our favorite pbs show was "chef" with lenny henry(he's great !) as the black chef/owner of an exclusive restaurant. his elegant tongue lashings at his employees were memorable--like the one with the blue bandaid used so it wouldn't get lost in the prepped food--which of course it does. would like to see this series again. anyone know how to access pbs shows?

Jamie Oliver is mediocre compared to the chefs on Food TV. My favorites are Giarda deLaurentis, Ina Garten, Tyler Florence, Bobby Flay and Rachel Ray and Iron Chef America.

Well I enjoy Jamie a whole lot better than Rachel Ray, she may be entertaining but her food is at best what you could call tambouille a word used to describe bad army food.

I think you fail to see the connection with Rachel Ray. Born on Cape Cod and raised in upstate NY of Italian heritage. How can one doubt those qualifications to be a credible chef?

According to some "a pretty face" for TV and nothing more!

PS... GIARDA? Sounds like a water-borne parasite from the Rockies. Of course, Giada de Laurentis is very well-endowed. You wouldn't be watching her on that account, would you? Might explain why you never noticed the correct spelling of her name. :lol:
