awww, our consulate here is so hip. I don't know any of them personally but I did go to a benefit at the Consul's house here, of course it is huge and gorgeous but it turns out it is rented. I suppose I should register although I'm not sure why. I drive by the US consulate all the time, it looks like a fortress, I guess that is normal now.
